Do buyers pay extra to use an agent?

Typically, no!

Do I need to use an agent? 

Yes! Real estate brokers work to represent you in a transaction. Going into a sale without representation (or using the listing agent) is like showing up at court and using the opposing party’s attorney. 

What about Zillow? I can find a house myself! 

Technology allows for much more transparency in the real estate market – which is a good thing! However, finding a property is just the first step in a long and often complicated process. 

What home can I afford?

It depends on your income and your other financial obligations (like car loans, student loans, child support payments, and credit card payments). A simple mortgage calculator is where you should start – before you start browsing!

Can I buy a new home and sell my current one at the same time. 

It can be complicated, but it’s definitely possible!

How quickly can I close?

Usually within 45 days, but it mostly depends on your financing. 

Do I really need a home inspection?
